She is the original and first Shaker And Mover who made things happen as early as 2004 with her Merci Melchor Brochures for Battered Women (MMBBW). MMBBW has a Series on: Abuse, The Narcissist and Family Violence Prevention.
Momcie, as she is fondly called, practiced what she believed was best for a child and this is immortalized in a Museo Pambata book entitled Letters from Lolo and Lola (1998). in a letter she wrote to her youngest grandchild, Buffy, Momcie expresses how special, unique and precious he is. Thus, IAMSAM dates the origin of its mantra “I Am Special, Unique and Precious” to this letter.
It is the goal of the foundation to reach as many with this empowerment: "I AM Special, Unique and Precious!", as a natural entitlement simply because s/he is born into this world!
